My work is deeply engaged with the beauty and intelligence of Nature. Flowers, plants, and fragments of the natural world are not just subjects for me but have an active presence within each of my works.

Dried seeds, stamens, and plant fragments can take centre stage. Placed rhythmically across the canvas—whether in horizontal or vertical lines—they cut through the composition like living threads. These elements are not decorative; they are reminders of Nature’s central place in our lives, holding space for connection, memory, and meaning.

In my classical floral paintings, I work with the techniques of the Old Masters. Here, it is Nature’s refined beauty that leads with light, shadow, and layers of transparent and semi-transparent colour. These are all ways of revealing her intelligence that both humbles and inspires.

Art is my dialogue with Nature: a recognition of her place in guiding us back to wholeness, and a celebration of the beauty she offers when we pause long enough to truly see.
